Scott Kleeb seems to be coming on VERY strong. Compared to the Republican candidates, who are shooting it out and working HARD toward the primary, Scott out-raised Jay Vavricek, mayor of Grand Island by a 2-to-1 ratio in the first-quarter of 2006 and he also out-raised John Hanson by a considerable margin. The only Republican candidate he did not out-raise is Adrian Smith, a Rolex-wearing, Hummer-driver with support from the ultra-conservative Club for Growth who's "special interests" have little to do with the rural agricultural issues of the 3rd District.

Once the dust settles after the primaries, the voters of the 3rd will have a very interesting choice - do they vote the same-old party-line, even if it isn't in their best interests, or do they make a statement to D.C. that they are looking for a change?

Should be fun to watch, eh?!
